Python-LDAP for Win32 (rather ageing, I'm afraid)

Python-LDAP 2.0.6 for Python 2.4, with SSL support.
This version is built against OpenLDAP 2.2.18 and OpenSSL 0.9.7e using the mingw32 toolchain (currently the "official" supported setup for the OpenLDAP toolkit). Still no SASL support.
If you're still on Python 2.3, I have a Python-LDAP 2.0.4 build, also with SSL and without SASL.
I still have the older Python-LDAP 2.0.0pre14 for Win32 and Python 2.3 since someone may be interested in the SASL support which is missing from the newer build. No SSL support here, though :-(

The OpenLDAP toolkit may be downloaded from OpenLDAP.org.
However I'd refer all interested parties to Lucas Bergman's download area: Lucas is the developer of the Win32 port of OpenLDAP and still the (volounteer) source of the binary distribution as correctly stated here.

Purtroppo il sito di Racconti & Letteratura, dove ne venivano ospitati alcuni, è chiuso dalla fine del 2002.

Chiunque abbia intenzione di capire davvero il retroterra culturale dell'informatica deve assolutamente leggere il Jargon File, detto anche e pubblicato come "The New Hacker's Dictionary".
Non gli farebbe male anche un'occhiata alla homepage del suo incredibile manutentore Eric S. Raymond., che mantiene anche un bellissimo museo dei linguaggi di programmazione "retró", The Retrocomputing Museum.
Inoltre sarebbe bene si spulciasse il gancio a "computers" all'interno di The Long Dark Tea-Time Of The Soul, che fa parte del sito di Melissa Binde. Ma anche gli altri ganci sono interessanti.
L'ottimo Maurizio Codogno ha inventato la versione italiana, che ospito qui in mirror. Non è una traduzione del Jargon File, ma una cosa del tutto originale e italiana (anche se alcune voci sono prese a prestito).
Trovo molto molto interessante anche il sito Codes and Ciphers in the Second World War che descrive lo sforzo titanico degli inglesi per decifrare i codici di crittografia usati dai tedeschi durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale.

Il sito principale è ovviamente Star Trek.
The Klingon Language Institute è invece un'istituzione benemerita e molto seria.
